Beyond Catalonia is a documentary series that attempts to explain some of the main independence movements in Europe, and some of the lesser-known ones. This episode focuses on Scotland. Probably the most famous nationalist movement on the whole continent and another particularly close to Catalan sentiment. On the first anniversary of the referendum, voices for and against Scottish independence share their vision of the future of a region that, with or without independence, has always had its own identity.
