Beyond Catalonia is a documentary series that attempts to explain some of the main independence movements in Europe, and some of the lesser-known ones. This episode focuses on Lapland, a region inhabited by the indigenous Sami people and divided into four states: Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia. With very different situations and rights depending on the country, they fight to stay together and preserve their culture and way of life.
